bodensee – lake constance

With a warm herbst(fall)-greeting I say hello to everyone!
I’m getting pretty lazy on posting any blog.;) But I’m doing fine with my big round belly and our Ponyo pleases and surprises us more and more every day playing in my belly.:))
By the way, we spent our first and last vacation of this year at Bodensee (Lake Constance) few weeks ago.

My impression from Bodensee: on very last summer of a year and everywhere bunch of grapes!
It was just so lovely and welcoming sign to see the beautiful grape tree decorating the house entrance.

The pension where we stayed was at Meersburg, a very small town in the medieval atmosphere.

Finally we arrived after the long traffic jam on the way and I had a first look over the Bodensee, ehm, calm and quiet…a little bit boring too, maybe? 😉 There were full of old people who seemed like enjoying their retirement.

We were also at the island Mainau. It was currently opening ‘Dahlia Queen’ contest. And this one, oops, forgot the name ;p, is my favorite!

I like the blossom of dahlia. It looks like a kind of lantern light.

I didn’t really know yet that walking around can be such exhausting for me and every 30 minutes I was desperately looking for a toilette.:( After having some nap in the afternoon at pension we brought some foods from the supermarket and had dinner on the back yard of the pension. That was romantic, also pretty convenient! 😉

Ummm- greeeeeen! :)) On the way to Marienschlucht, a very, very tiny canyon.

Thousands of stairs! Chris had lots of fun looking at me, panting for air.-_-

But we both are very fond of this moment, surrounded by the green and fresh nature, even though it was raining.
